This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected and used when you visit https://www.appartementprive.fr/, contact Appartement Privé or otherwise communicate with the publisher of the Site.

1. Who is responsible for your personal data?

"Appartement Privé" is a business name and is not currently a separate legal entity.

Depending on how you use the Site, we may collect:

  • your telephone number, if provided;
  • your project type, preferred location, anticipated timing and other project information;
  • the contents of your enquiry and subsequent correspondence;
  • information you choose to provide concerning a property or proposed project;
  • technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps and security logs;
  • your cookie and privacy choices.

Please do not submit sensitive personal data, identity documents, financial account information, access codes or confidential transaction documents through the general contact form.

We do not currently use contact-form data to send newsletters or unrelated promotional messages. If this changes, a separate and appropriate choice will be offered where required.

Fields marked as mandatory are required so that we can understand and respond to your enquiry. If you do not provide them, we may be unable to reply or assess your request. Optional information helps us understand your project but is not required to contact us.

5. Who may receive your data?

Access is limited to persons who need the information for the purposes described above. Personal data may be shared with:

  • the publisher and persons acting under their documented authority;
  • Wix, which provides the website, hosting, form and technical infrastructure;
  • Google Workspace, which provides professional email services;
  • IT, security, legal, accounting or other professional advisers where necessary;
  • selected consultants or other professional collaborators where their involvement is necessary to assess or respond to your request, subject to an appropriate legal basis and confidentiality safeguards;
  • public authorities, courts or regulators where disclosure is required by law.

We do not sell personal data. If an enquiry is transferred to a separate professional who will use the information for that professional’s own purposes, you will be informed of that professional’s identity and role where required.

6. International data transfers

Some technical service providers may process or make personal data accessible outside the European Economic Area. Where such a transfer occurs, it will be based on an adequacy decision adopted by the European Commission or on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, together with any supplementary measures required by applicable law.

7. How long do we keep your data?

Enquiry and prospect information is retained for up to three years from the date of collection or from the last active contact initiated by you, whichever is later, unless: you ask us to delete it earlier; a shorter period is appropriate; you become a client, in which case relevant data is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and then archived for the applicable legal or limitation periods; longer retention is required to comply with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Technical security logs and analytics information are retained only for the period necessary for their purpose and according to the settings of the relevant service.

Cookie choices are normally retained for six months, after which you may be asked to make a new choice.

8. Your rights

Subject to the conditions provided by applicable law, you may:

  • request access to your personal data;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request deletion of your data;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • receive data you provided in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format where the right to data portability applies;
  • withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal;
  • provide instructions concerning the handling of your personal data after your death, where French law applies.
